Eurocode NAD list and RC detailing

Hi,
From France... I have been using FEM software -mainly for mechanical structural design.

Since 2005 I work as a civil structural engineer (housing buildings). I work with ESA PRIMA WIN and CBS PRO to determine effort/stress and concrete detailing with Robot.
Up to now, calculations and local code and practises allowed (in my region) use of software like CBS Pro or Arche (Graitec).
But with introduction of Eurocodes and my region entering seismic era I would like to use more advanced software as Etabs seems to be.

(1) My fisrt question is : does Etabs contains Eurocodes with French NAD (EC 2 3 5 and 8)(as I have not found detailed list of design codes on C&S inc)?

(2) I have read a lot you using Excel-like sheets to produce detailled concrete reinforcement. How do you do when you have 10s of beams to "draw" ? Do you calculate them 15cm per 15cm entering manually N V M T? or can the steel reinforcement areas can be used safely ?

I also work with Etabs and I'm also from Eurocode region. Etabs include following features:
EC2, EC3 but only for linear elements (columns and beams)
and exclude:
complete EC8 (except response spectrum curves), EC5 and EC2, EC3 for surface elements.

Unfortunately that's all what CSI offer to Eurocode users. Hope this will be improved in the next Etabs version...but they promise it for a couple of years.

solution for concrete column/beams/slab design gives Idea RCS.
It has complete EC2 provisions implemented. It will guide you to design any type of cross-section with reinforcement in any position.
It doesn´t have French NAD but this is not an issue.

you can check out the ECtools applet. It works with ETABS ans SCIA Engineer and performs the EC2&EC8 checks and design. it includes most of the NAs. There is a free demo that is partially working available for download.
