WE ARE TRYING TO ETCH BUBBLE LETTERS ON SOME CUSTOM PARTS USING DR ABE BLANK AND I CANNOT FIND A WAY TO DO IT. IF I DID IT IN MASTERCAM I WOULD JUST POCKET IT BUT THERE IS NO OPTION FOR THAT. ANY IDEAS?

@Hookie1985 Please share a sample drawing.

We have to make what we want to etch in the AP100 program. Makes them a magenta colour.
If you also turn off 'Use G41/G42' in the Laser Tool Assign/ NC GENERATE part of Dr-Abe, any small imperfections it will ignore.
Just make sure you turn it back on, and ensure the condition you use E010 as a condition.

For Etching in Dr.Able Blank you have to set the E010 condition for the respective contour.
You cand find that option in the Part Edit--> Manual Assing/Edit... Above where it says Approach, are the condition for cutting (E004 and E003 usually), you have to change that to E010 and select no pierce.

It can also be set to etch a certain drawing layer.
