Hi, I need advice in modeling 3d truss in etabs. I was confused on which part of the truss should I release. When I released the trusses and run in full 3d, the members' displacement is very large and it's not realistic. Also, the columns are failing in large amounts as well. When I tried to set the top chord and bottom chord as continuous(no release), the columns produce realistic p-m ratios. What could be the right thing to do in this situation? Thank you.
