Etabs Slow Performance

First off I am new to using Etabs and I am really irritated with the speed of the program on my computer. I have a Lenova Ideapad Z710 with an i-7 processor and 16 gb of RAM as well as 1 tb of memory (regular, not SSD). I thought that this computer would enable me to quickly model but it is running very slow. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do because I want to run model time-history analysis and if it is running slow while modeling I feel like my computer won't be able to handle this kind of analysis.

I am not sure about time-history analysis. But, I feel Etabs can be slow when I model a complex high rise building. I use CPU i7 - 3770 16GB 4GB graphic memory.
Sometimes Etabs 13 has some bugs. They make your modelling error and become overflow memory.
