Etabs Prestress Application

Hello,

I just want to know if the Prestress function included in ETABS 2016 is applicable for beams? I run a quick check, model a simple beam, apply loads, add tendons on it and run the analysis with two combinations: w/ tendons & w/o tendons. I observed that the reinforcement was reduced as well as the deflection but i just want to double check if it is really applicable for beams? or is it only for slab? Just want to make sure.
