Dear experienced etabs users,
I sincerely hope some of you can answer my queries.
1)When modelling transfer floor with a few transfer beams (say 1800x3500depth) and tie beams, would you model the whole transfer floor with Slab element of 3500mm thickness (with Shell-thin) and assign openings on the thick slab to make it like transfer beams?
OR would you just create Frame/line element and assign transfer beams dimensions and properties to it?
2)How to ensure proper connection between Transfer floors(Shell element) with others frame/line element without getting any errors?
