Hi, I am modeling a pretty large structure for my final year project. I noticed that there are two problems: High displacement in the larger slabs as well as increasingly high displacement the higher floors go. What is wrong with my structure, and what can I do to fix it?

If you want any meaningful type of answers to your question, you need to be far more specific and provide far more detailed information that is useful to diagnose the problem.

I am guessing you have a 5 storey building with braced frames with timber floors?? Am I correct?? Is my telepathy working ok today..... No, well we should not be guessing here. You'll get far more helpful responses if you communicate specifics, software being utilised, building configuration, whether the displacement is lateral or vertical, screenshots demonstrating the actual issue you are observing, it may be perfectly plausible or indicative of a poor configuration of the building or user error in the analysis...... again we are guessing otherwise.
