Etabs Freezing Issue

Morning all,

I'm working in Etabs for the first time and I was wondering if anyone else has run into an issue where creating a new model freezes your computer, I can't even create a grid system or a blank model without it completely freezing everything. I've tried this with both v18 and v19 to the same result. I've reached out to IT so no worries if no one has seen this before, I was just wondering if there was an easy fix while I wait for IT's response.

Not sure if this is the same condition as what you are experiencing, but I have had issues with ETABS freezing after an analysis has been run. I have found that if I go into task manager, there is a warning pop-up that won't populate but freezes access to the primary ETABS window. When end tasking this window, the model unfreezes and I can access the warning pop up through the command prompts.
