I am trying to find a reference (not sure if Caltrans has this information) that will give me rough estimates for bridge components (girder depth, span width, pier depths, etc.) for different part particular bridge spans and different types of bridges. Do you guys/girls know if Caltran's or other agencies provide this type of information?

Thanks

I'm not sure about Caltrans, but AS 5100.5 which is for Australia gives information regarding bridge substructure and superstructure.

Peace

I believe Caltrans had an old memo posted in their bridge division portion of their website that listed that information. It was there once upon a time but it may have moved. I'll see if I can track it down.

Can you use the LRFD AASHTO Table 2.5.2.6.3-1 for minimum depths of beams and superstructures?

Yes, the AASHTO Table will be helpful. Also, appreciate if you can help me out in locating that Caltnra's Memo.

Thank you, really appreciate your help.
