Hi All!

I remember having a correlation in a previous life that estimated the QUANTITY of carryover in a typical gas/condenstae/water separtor given the droplet size that the separator was designed to remove.

The correlation was a simple one, and all I can remmber is

(Carryover in l/d) = 10^-5 x (Dp in microns)^3

As I said, it was a pretty simple correlation, but it worked two times out of two. Does anyone here have either: a reference as to where this thing came from, or at least the whole thing (as I am pretty sure I'm missing at least one thing!)?

Thanks,
Stuart
