ESR Reports in Post Tensioned Construction

We have a post tensioned slab project entering construction. The contractor wants to use a local PT suppliers that makes all their own bits and bobs. I can't find any specific language, but are ESR reports required for the anchorage pieces and the overall assemblies? I am not concerned about the strand, more the pieces making up the anchorage.

If they aren't tested and approved by some agency - I would stay far away!!

I agree. A stray tendon or two can cause a lot of damage, if not injury.

I do not know if ESR reports are required, but you might check with the local jurisdicetion to see how they feel. If they defer to your expertise, I would require them.

I also agree on wanting to use something with a known performance history/testing. I found some requirements in the PTI Manual and some references in ACI301 that I can use. As always thanks for the input.
