I am looking to prove a concrete pad foundation subject to bi-axial bending that sits on a concrete slab. The resultant vertical load on the pad is outside the middle third kern of the pad but still within its footprint. I am hopeing Eslings Formula will give me a check on the bearing stress. Would anybody know where I might find a copy with derivation explanation.
