Good day

I am working in a refinery as a process engineer, I have encountered the terms above but I couldn't understand them well.
what do those terms mean?

thank you

ESD forced might be that the system can force the reset or opening of an ESD valve.

Sometimes happens when you need say <5bar across the valve to open but even with a bypass fully open you can't get the differential low enough, then you would / could force the ESD valve to open.

The last one I found via google in about 15 seconds - seems to refer to an ESD test of a circuit.

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

ESD MOS is a built-in switch provided in the DCS to enable maintenance of trip transmitters/system so as to avoid inadvertent trip of the plant/unit. Normally the overridden trips gets back to normal after a period of time say 8 hours.

Regards,

John
