ESC key help?

Hey guys.
I have to use draftsite for my mechanical engineering course at university. Unfortunately i have come to the realisation that my 'Esc' key does not work. Is there any way of creating a key extension for the ESC key?
I would really appreciate any advice possible.

Are you using a laptop?

If not, just get another keyboard?

Borrow a USB keyboard to see if the Esc key works from that. If it does then it's definitely your keyboard. If it doesn't then it's a software setting.

Does it work when booted into Safe Mode?
