Hello!

First time poster, long time lurker. (Well, two years...)

Anyways, our company is still running NX 4.0

I am having a problem inserting symbols. For machining symbols, lines are missing from the geometry, or it will just say "No displayable geometry". Doing some digging in the log file, it seems the issue revolves around the statement:

EXCEPTION: Error code 3365001 in line 848 of D:\workdir\reference\NX404_2\src\ann\no\ind\ann_usrsym_definitions.c at Mon Apr 29 15:52:34 2013 Eastern Daylight Time

I don't have anything in the D:\ Drive so I think there must be a reference error. Does anyone know where this should normally be looking? Thanks!

change the color of your background to see if things are now visible

Just a stab, but it seems the symbol is still referencing a location that might no longer exist on your D-drive. Search your log file for variables that might be pointing to this location.

Unfortunately it is not a background issue. Apparently when I make a section view in drafting the phantom line between the arrows will not show either. This is regardless of which part I work on and my coworkers lines will show up on the same part. However, they cannot get the lines to appear on my section views either.

I checked about the D:\ idea but my sysadmin says that is normal to check the installation files and isn't the problem.

When you rms (right mouse click) on a drawing view and
View style -> Perspective (tab)
is either Front Clipping or Back Clipping checked on ?
