Hello everyone !
I'm new on ANSYS and I'm trying to analyze a wing with the extrados made in composite. I use the ACP (Pre/Post) module.
My problem is that when I import my geometry from Creo Parametric (in .stp) in ANSYS and try to mesh it, I have an error "The mesh does not contain any shell elements. This may be because the model is not compatible with Sextion Data providers" and when I want to open th setup of ACP Pre, the error "ACP Validation Failure. There is no data contained in the input mesh file" appears.
I have already try several times, with .igs and .stp formats, and I specified that I want a shell geometry in those formats...
So, does someone know what I have to do ? Maybe it's the manner I import the file ? Or a parameter in ANSYS ?
Btw I use ANSYS 17.0.
I hope you will be able to help me.
Thanks anyway !
