I've installed NASTRAN and PATRAN in my laptop (AMD Turion64, running on WinXP). Everything works fine till I try to import a bdf file into my newly created db file. Patran outputs the following error message:
"The MscNastranDbServer has Crashed while reading C:\...\bdf_file_name.bdf" Any idea what this is about? I thought I installed most of the important updates but I might have missed something during the installation/setup??!
PS: I've found a fix for this problem in the MSC product support site, but the patch only supports Linux based systems, and there doesn't seem to be a fix for Windows systems.
