ERA Environment Exploding

Hello I just upgraded from ST to ST3. In ST after finishing exploding an item, I could click on the item again and modify it's distance. I am having trouble finding out how to do this in ST3. I have found the drag feature, but after I pick the plane and enter in the value nothing happens, I can move the part with the mouse, but I want to move it a specific distance like 10". Anyone know how this is done in ST3. Thanks in Advance,monte84.
