Hello,

Can anyone point me towards studies of HVAC equipment selection? It seems that designs are often driven by first cost of a system. What I am interested in is a comparison of sizing criteria of ducts (in-wg/100ft), filters (face velocity & in-wg), heating coils (face velocity & in-wg), etc with regards to first cost and life cycle costs. I would like to review a study that encompasses the cost of energy and money, and shows typical design criteria for lowest first cost and design criteria for lowest lifecycle cost.

Thanks
