I am looking for a website or something to that effect that will have a generic listing of industrial equipment with associated failure modes/classes that will help me update our CMMS.

You should have a team composed of process, maintenance, inspection and planning people to make a criticality equipment ranking list of your process. After that analysis you can focus your rcm-cmms on the most critical equipment, optimizing resources and reliability.
