Equipment to measure ice fraction in slurry ice

I am looking for an equipment to measure ice fraction in slurry ice. Is anyone familiar with any such equipment??

That would require a density measurement. At some point a depth and a pressure at that depth would produce that value.
 
Unless the slurry is well agitated it will not have a uniform ice fraction.Ice floats. If the slurry is agitated enough to be uniform then a measure of density will give ice fraction. This can be measured with a corriolis density meter (expensive), or a pure water column adjacent to the slurry tank, and measuring the level in the tank relative to the water column.
 
I googled it, and not much help. I find mention of the ‘cafetiere method’ which sounds like "get a sieve and a bucket", although the idea could be refined in various ways.
 
If the mass is known doesn't a suitably graduated stick get you there?
 
This is very difficult to do, as the ice is less dense than the water.
I have seen food processing systems that pump slush at a few degrees below freezing.
They simply use temperature measurements for control.
And of course, pray that the pumps don't fail.

Would a viscosity system be better? Put a paddle in it and add water if it's too stiff and drain if it's not stiff enough?
