Hello,

I am writing a reference that contains math and engineering diagrams and equations. Word equation editor is good but very slow, and diagrams can also be long using visio or other tools.
For the purpose of equations and diagrams, can anyone recommend a tool that may be quicker and easier to do something like that.
FYI: The manuscript is in MS word document.

Thank you

As much as possible, do it right the first time...

No idea if this is any good or not, but it looks like it solves your math editor and diagram problems: https://www.mathcha.io/

Is this for personal use, or are you going to sell it? If for personal use, try typing it into WolframAlpha and then using the snipping tool to capture an image of the equation, associated diagrams, etc. If you're going to sell it, then you'd have to look into Wolfram's licensing policies.

I found Corel Draw to be a very capable illustrator.

Not to be confused with the Corel photo editing suite of tools, which performs entirely different operations for photo image adjustment.

Once you have sufficient mastery of the tools you can create very nice line drawing illustrations for a document. There is going to be a learning curve.

I learned I had to develop a consistent process for creation, sizing, import and document formating to get a professional result.
