Can anyone recommend an appropriate epoxy grout that could be used in contact with mill finish aluminum such that corrosion or other degradation of the aluminum will not occur? Evidently cement grout is not a good application for this.

Thank you

This has been discussed before. Here is one such entry. They seem to indicate any epoxy is fine. Cement grout is bad because portland cement produces strong alkalies when it is hydrating, and aluminum does not react well with alkalies, or acids for that matter.

Get hold of Sika Corp for advise. We used a lot of their products on our bridge projects.

Coat the aluminum. You can use clear acrylic, urethane or epoxy, then you can put it in any grout.
