looking at installation of steel anchor bolts into concrete, underwater (up to 250 feet +/-), hilti 500 epoxy. temporary tensile loading only. I am assuming a 30% reduction in the bond strength, but not sure if this is sufficient. Any experience out there with this stuff underwater?

Best thing to do is contact hilti directly and speak with a technical rep to see what they would recommend

agreed, but would like to get the unbiased opinion also...

Do you have time to do some tests?

sadly, the testing would be cost prohibitive seeing as how it requires deep water diving setup in order to install.
according to hilti, they have done no testing below 50 meters so they have no recommendation for epoxy.

well, I was trying to work with the contractor, but due to limited data on underwater installation as well as evidence that significant reduction in bond for underwater should be expected, I am going to recommend an undercut anchor
