I am working on a water distribution system for an EWB Chapter.
I am trying to import GPS points to EPANet, but am struggling to figure out how to do this.
I was able to import the GPS points via AutoCAD and Civil3D into EPANet. The general distribution of points is correct. However, the actual distance between them is way off. This, of course, renders our model useless. I tried changing the units, and that did not help.
Does anyone have any suggestions or know how to point me in the right direction? If importing is not possible, how can you ensure they are in the correct location for modeling? (the Google Earth image of the area we are working is too low of quality to use)
