Does anyone have experience on the use of various types of entrainers for azeotropic mixtures as well as what procedures are used for complex ternary/binary/n-azeotropic mixture seperations? Or know of a reasonably intresting (not overly mathematical in its treatise) book on seperatrion of these type of mixtures? Or a process heuristic that is easily explainable to the client.

I know this has probably been beaten to death, but I'm interested in simple methods that work well as "rules of thumb" for field work. i.e. inital answer that may lead to productive real answers later, but can be "sold" to the client on-the-fly (and be correct).

thx.
