It's been a while since I used SWX, but there is a curve through points command. You could use that one to create each curve.
It sounds to me that you came from the days of AutoCAD. My advice to you, without sounding rude, is to get over it. The concept of sketching in SWX is completely different than creating geometry in AutoCAD. The sooner you forget about ACAD when working with SWX, the sooner you'll pick up Works and wonder why you ever used ACAD (other than the fact that it was the best of its time). To summarize the difference: in ACAD, the line controlled the dimension. In SWX, the dimension controls the line.
If you need the ACAD look and feel, you can turn on the 2D emulator in Tools --> Add-ons. This gives you the comfortable ACAD command line where you can use the famous @ symbol. I advice you not to do this, as it will only slow your learning of SWX.
