Hi Everyone,

I am trying to insert an electrical ground symbol into a sketch in order to extrude-cut it into the part. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks!

oh and I am trying to do this in solidworks

Have you worked through the SolidWorks Tutorials in the Help section?

Why is this extrude-cut a problem for you?
How is it different from other cuts?

Sounds like a good idea Dan. I will try that. Thanks!

I'll too will draw and cut extrude. And will also save the sketch as block for future reference/use.

yeah I ended up just sketching it myself. I was just hoping there was a fast and easy way to insert a standard one. I guess I will have to add it to the library. Thanks all!
