Does anyone have any idea why MD6 doesn't have english thread studs in the standard parts fasteners? I have played with the standards listing in mech options and still can not get anything but metric. Are they really not included or am I looking at yet another hidden solution? Any downloadable?

I can draw them out in the mean time, but little stuff like this really should be included.

Dear Fred;

I'm puzzled, My MDT6 has ANSI, DIN and ISO fasteners as well as steel shapes etc in the power pack. When you check "Assist", "Mechanical Options", "Standard Part" do you see those three standards listed there under "Standard Settings" ? Perhaps they have been deleted.

I have been stuck in the metric fasteners selection before but usually I just have to negotiate back up the directory tree in the fastener dialog box untill I find my ANSI section.

Regards Adrian

Adrian,
That was the first place I checked. That's why I am so puzzled. For the majority of fasteners etc... I do have ANSI, DIN and ISO installed and no problems. It's only with studs. I tried rearranging the order in which the standards are listed and still can not find any reference to english thread studs. Do you have them on your load?

FredGarvin,

Mine also only has studs for DIN, one of the many 'almost did it right' practices of Autodesk that causes them to lose customers. On the bright side you can create your own library of parts.
