Anybody have to calculate the energy dissipated by U-Type Concrete Endwall with baffles (FDOT Index No. 261)? The structure is not the same as the USBR Type VI impact basin referenced in HEC 14. The HEC 14 design examples are only applicable to specific configurations and do not apply. The structure I need to analyze has a vertical hanging baffle, but does not have the horizontal return on the top.
