How much energy consumption does a pellet production line needs to work?I'm interested in 1 tonne per hour.I checked in the web but i only found chinese companies.They gave me very high energy consumption.Around 280 Kw.Does anyone knows any european company that is related on the pellet production line?

Now based on the 1 tonne per hour, I'm inclined to rule out the 'bullet' option as I wouldn't think that would be how you'd refer to the quantities, and I assume he's not talking about going Harry Potter up in the attic so we can rule out bird pellets. However, Animal feed; plastic resin as well as the different fuel pellets all seem possibilities.

What is Engineering anyway: faq1088-1484

The product is wood pellets.Small size. d=6mm, l=30mm. The pellet production line consists of the following mashines: 1.Grinding/Milling, 2)Drying, 3)Hammer mill, 4)Pelletizing, 5)Cooling, 6)Screening, 7)Packing.

It depends... You should discuss with potential suppliers.
Much will depend on:
* Your raw material (whole trees? co-product from timber wood harvesting? sawdust from wood sawing operation? demolition wood?). That will make a big difference for your consumption in step 1 and 2.
* Energy for drying (ambient air, steam heated, electrical heated?);
* Energy for heating and conditioning for pelletizing (steam, electrical?);

However, roughly (based on your limited info):
Hammermill 45-75 kW;
Pelletizing 45 kW;
Serious fans for providing drying air and cooling air, product transport fan from hammer mill to pelletizing buffer? = 3 x 30 kW;

So, totally installed power of 280 kW for entire line is possible. Total consumption of 280kW maybe.
