End Plate Moment Connection - Col-Beam Gage Question?

this is just a curious question.

is there any restriction if column gage is 5.5" and beam gage is just 2.25" for end plate moment connection?

i check using descon software and it doesnt seem to consider the difference between column and bm gage.

i dont see anything in aisc design guide either but the yield line doesnt seem to be the same.

nevermind i see the restriction of 1" + Bm Flange width as "maximum"
