Dear all,

Is there any guideline or minimum distance requirement for weld gap (from weld toe to weld toe) between an external attachment (such as platform/pipe support cleats) and a cylinder L-seam or cylinder C-seam provided in EN-13445.

I have come across minimum distance requirement between L-seams of successive courses (clause 7.2 in EN-13445 part 4), however could not locate resolution for my query.

It may not be explicitly specified, and to be decided by manufacturer based on Good engg. practice.
Thanks and regards
