I have some part files that are referenced in a certain assembly. I opened the assembly today and get errors. I browse the part feature tree, from within the assembly, and sse no geometry. I open the part files and confirm the geometry is gone. Windows Explorer shows identical DATE MODIFIED (2/10/2010), and a FILE SIZE of 41KB. We'll have to get backups from our offsite vendor to get data back. Has anyone seen this before?

Yep, BTDT.
A 41kb file is (almost always) empty.
Got a bunch of them from failed import of .stp files.
The funny thing is, you can re-try the import, and sometimes get different results.
