Elipse Geometry Question

I am Designing a machine part which will look like a oval tube cut on a 45°angle, I guess it would be called a oblique elipse tube section. My question is... If this part would be cut on one end and opened up and laid out, What would the shape be and what is the formula to solve this geometry.<br>
