Electronics... Circa 1938 1

I'll step over to my hobby, for a minute, and mention an item that may be of interest to the Electrical Engineers here. Scanned and posted the 165 page 1938 Allied Radio catalog on my "other" website. An order blank is included so you can take advantage of the low, low prices... with the help of a time machine [smile]

I like it. That is not your average consumer's radio catalog.

Not being quite old enouh to appreciate tube gear my only take away - The bottom one on pg 16 looks like a 1970's toaster we once had that was, nothing short of, a tool of arson.

And not so cheap... According to Dollartimes.com:
$50 in 1938 had the same buying power as $729.97 in 2009.
Annual inflation over this period was about 3.85%.
