I like it. That is not your average consumer's radio catalog.

Not being quite old enouh to appreciate tube gear my only take away - The bottom one on pg 16 looks like a 1970's toaster we once had that was, nothing short of, a tool of arson.

And not so cheap... According to Dollartimes.com:
$50 in 1938 had the same buying power as $729.97 in 2009.
Annual inflation over this period was about 3.85%.

My dad worked there in 1938, you can see a photo by following "Picture of Development Lab at Bromsgrove Street in 1938" from the "People and Personalities" link on the left.
Oh, and I still have dad's slide rule, which he is holding in the photo.
