I am looking for a vendor who supplies an electronically controlled valve that can be used for draining a water tank. Due to the application, the valve needs to fit in an envelope of about a three inch cube (if possible) and have 1/8 NPT fittings. The valve will also need to be FDA approved.

Thanks!

Why not use a 2-way solenoid valve?

We are currently using solenoids for flow control, but we need a way to evacuate the one gallon tank quickly (<1 min). The solenoids we are using will take a while due to the .060 orifice. I'll look into a larger orifice solenoid.
