electrolysis pots in the aluminium industry - a question about bricks 1

Hello, I am most likely in the completely wrong place, but I don't know where else to ask this. I am a translator, and am translating a text about electrolysis pots in the aluminium industry (from Dutch to English). Can someone please help me out, I have a question about the different kinds of bricks used in the potlining. The Dutch texts refers to 3 types, namely BRO's, BIR's, and BIL's. What exactly do they mean here? ANY help would be very welcome! Thanks, Michael
