Dear All,

We intend to buy softwares required for carrying out electrical engineering calculations. I know of IPSA and Dapper being used by AMEC and Brown & Root for short circuit analysis and motor starting calculations. Please let me know what softwares are available and their uses.

busbar and cable ratings, eclosure ventillation, power factor correction, motor starting, transformer fault current, lots of conversions.
