Electrical Schematic Symbols with BLOCKS?

I'm playing with the idea of using BLOCKS to create a library of symbols. Then drag/drop them into a drawing & connect them with sketch lines. I was hoping I could use sketch relations to tie the end points of my lines to the BLOCKS, but it ain't working.

Any ideas?

I have turned in a ER a while back for this.
You have to insert the block, explode it. It's a pain.
You can use Visio also.

You could assign the insertion point of the block to be at the position of the "attachment" point for the sketch line.
Check blocks, insert in the Help file Index section.

Fixed in 2007.

I figured out how to make this work...
Basically, I have to make the schematic "sketch" in a part - so I can get the sketch relations to work. Then insert the "part" into a drawing. Using the BLOCKS directly in the drawing won't work for me.
