I am trying to use routing in different configurations. Is it possible to make them configuration specific? I have tried constraining the parts in the different configurations, but the wire becomes broken and floats away from the part in the other configuration (to the position I moved it to in the previous configurations).

I am using multiple levels of configurations. I want to use the derived configurations for moving around for a different assembly, but I still need the top configurations for the part to be in the same position for a different drawing.

The parts are three different colored led lights that I am adding to a placard and creating a harness to connectors.

I know my post is long thank you for your help. If anything is unclear I will be more than happy to elaborate.

So far I have just had to suppress the cables in the derived config and create new components and cables then suppress them in the top config.
