Hello All,

I'm trying to understand how ME's and EE's interact when creating a product. what's that process like?

- What bothers you about the process now and how collaboration works now.
- Do you prefer to make your own 3D models for electronic parts? why?
- Are there things that EE's generaly do that bother you?

Thank you for any input

Hi Alexsander

Do you mind me asking why you're asking? I work for Altium - we develop electronics design software. We've recently launched a feature called CoDesigner which enables seamless collaboration between EEs and MEs using Altium and one of three currently supported MCAD packages (Creo, Solidworks and Inventor).

I recently created a post on our forum to find out a bit of background information relating to some new functionality we're adding to CoDesigner. There responses on there will probably give you a lot of useful information. Might be worth you having a look.

Thanks
Jack
