What is the definition of an certified electrical drawing?

In most contract documents it is a signed and sealed electrical drawing by a PE. Certifying that the electrical design meets the NEC and any other code or specification. Usually, need to obtain permits.

Suggestion: The certified electrical drawing is signed, dated, and sealed or stamped by actively registered Professional Engineer who practices in the electrical profession in that state (or reciprocal state, if that is permitted) where it is required to be certified. It reflects expertise of the Professional Engineer who signs, dates and stamps it.
