What is the equation used to correspond the thickness/diameter of a cylinder to an overall compliance? I'm trying to model a vessel and have the compliance of the tissue to compare my model to.

If you mean what is the axial compliance of a cylinder, then the axial deflection per unit force is given by h/(E*pi*r^2), where h is the height of the cylinder, E is Young's modulus and r is the radius of the cylinder. If you are after something else, please clarify.
