Will be grateful if someone suggests a reasonably-priced supplier for a turn-key solution for the above, to include:

1. Thermocouple sensor for installation in exhaust manifold, upstream of the turbine flange;

2. A 2' to 2 1/2 " analogue dial gauge for display on driver´s dash;

3. Wiring between sensor and dial gauge, to be between 6-12 ft (it is for a twin-engined boat application)

4. Boat´s electrical system is 12 V DC (nominal)

Thank you optimum .

I accessed Isspro´s page and then some of their nation-wide (US) dealers. The latter provided all the nitty gritty I was looking for.

Reasonably priced turn-key solutions and good looking gauges.

No buying a thermocouple here and a gauge there, thank you!

I suggest you bolt it on before turbocharger. Only that'll give useful information on what's going on with the EGT's.

Why is that?

The bigger Diesels have them after the turbo.
