EFFECTIVE LENGHT FACTOR FOR A 2 SEGMENT CANTILEVERED PIPE RACK COLUMN

Dear All,
What should be the correct way of determining the effective length factor for a cantilever column divided into 2 segments. One segment is from pedestal to bracing beams and the other segment is from that point all the way to the top. I have assigned K=2 to both the segments. Is it correct or there should be another way?

I would use K = 2.0 for both segments. But, I might use the full height as the unbraced length at well. I'm trying to see how the buckled shape of the column would be significantly changed by the presence of those braces.
