Effect of Aluminum in 83-7-7-3 Bronze

What effect does Aluminum have on the properties of 83-7-7-3 ( SAE 660 Bronze)? I am having difficulty attaining mechanical properties for a heat. I have about 0.2% Aluminum in the composition and max allowable is 0.005%.
