Hi ,

The requirement from discharge device must be 100gpm , the size of the system is 1-1/2inch . The discharge device will be connected to hose pipe of size 1-1/2inch . Eductor to be used to pump the required foam concentrate ( 3%) . Now i am designing the eudctor up to certain flow the suction is happening but when we increase the flow still more say 100gpm suction is not happening. Advise me which material will suitable for design of eductor.

100 GPM in 1-1/2" pipe? That's a very high flow rate for that size, almost 16 ft/s velocity.

I love demands from strangers ..... Please, Thank You and Best Regards are soooooo yesterday !!!!

NRAY,
you didn't provide enough info for the required answer, such as what's the process, and P&T, etc.
It may be a good knowledge learnt and save your time by sending the info to an eductor vendor, and ask for a proposal material, type and sizing, etc.

MJCronin, agree with your comment, the best response to demands like this is to do nothing.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)
