When working with Pro/Table (an editor that comes with Pro/E), let's think that one cell has got the text that reads as 123.321 and now I want to change it to 123.323; when I click on the cell its contents are displayed in the text box located at the top of the editor. And when I hit a key (without clicking your cursor in the text box at the top) the entire content goes off, making me to re-enter the whole content again.
Select the cell and RIGHT CLICK on it. You'll get a text box surrounding the selected cell with its content where you can move left/right to the character you want to change.
