Edge Highlighting

When I want to select an edge, it won't highlight anymore when I point the cursor over it. I'm not sure what I've done to prevent it from doing this because it was working until today. Is there a setting where I can change it back so that an edge will highlight when the cursor is on it?

Sounds like you toggled your selection filter off or on for edges. Hit F6 to see if you can clear that and regain your ability to select edges. Check out Selection Filter in Help for better detail.

No that doesn't seem to help but I'll check out the help feature. Thanks.

Make sure that the Display/Selection option "Dynamic highlight from graphics view" is checked. This is one of the options that randomly gets cleared periodically for me. I have no idea when or why this happens, but it does. Fortunately it doesn't happen often.
